ABOUT CATHERINE
Vacaville is my heritage.
It's a great place to raise a family - and just what we did! Since I arrived here in 1973, we've raised six children and now enjoy seven grandchildren, all living close by.
After stripping our late 1800s Victorian farmhouse down to the frame, remodeling and adding on, I turned my energies outward, raising thousands of dollars for the Vacaville High School music program, by initiating the Tuesday night bingo game at the Vacaville Bingo Hall. For the past four years, I've served as a director for Vacaville On Stage, assisting newcomers as they begin with the Vacaville Performing Arts Center. We're also involved in the local business community; my husband and I own the Cherry Pitt, providing auto smog checks and oil changes.
I have been a part of Kappel & Kappel, Inc. for more than 19 years, ranking in the top 5% of company producers. I served as president of the Northern Solano County Association of Realtors in 2006.
I earned the SRES® education-based designation to serve the unique needs of seniors.
And even with my extensive professional and community involvement, I try to squeeze in as much gardening and quilting as I can!
It's evident that I believe in Vacaville. It's my community, and I would enjoy helping you become a part of it.
